Dubai Reports Faster Property Registration Through Tamallak+

DLD reports an 88 per cent reduction in service completion time through Tamallak+, highlighting how digital registration is changing Dubai’s property transaction experience.

Dubai Land Department has reported an 88 per cent reduction in service completion time through Tamallak+, its initiative to redesign property registration. The update, published by DLD on 8 July 2026, accompanied the announcement that the initiative had received the 2025 Hamdan Flag in the pioneering category.

The Registration Journey Becomes the News

DLD said its connected framework included 59 real estate developers and 30 banks, with sales transactions possible in as little as five minutes. It also reported a customer happiness rate of 96.5 per cent. These are department-reported results, not a commitment that every transaction will follow the same timetable.

The initiative brings together services including property valuation, instant sales registration and developer self-registration. Its stated emphasis is on reducing repeated document submissions and linking information across the organisations involved. The figures describe service delivery, not growth in sales prices or the speed of building construction.

From Digital Sale to a More Connected Process

The July update follows the October 2025 launch of Digital Sale through Dubai Now. That announcement described a remote process involving a sale contract, UAE Pass signatures, payment and the issue of an ownership certificate for eligible transactions.

Our earlier Digital Sale industry news article explains the initial launch and its restrictions. Tamallak+ places individual digital services within a wider registration journey; the two announcements should not be read as removing eligibility checks or making every kind of purchase identical.

What Faster Registration Does Not Replace

A completed registration and a completed home are separate milestones. For a buyer, the administrative process sits alongside the purchase agreement, payment obligations, project delivery and, where relevant, mortgage arrangements. A faster service cannot establish a construction completion date or settle every question about a property.

The practical implication is less duplication, not less attention to detail. Confirming the correct documents and understanding which organisation handles each stage remain important, particularly when several parties are involved.

Customer Support Continues Beyond the Transaction

At developer level, that distinction makes clear communication valuable throughout ownership. Prestige One’s Customer Happiness Centre announcement, published in July 2025, describes support with documentation, purchase formalities and handover coordination. That is separate from DLD’s government registration services; this article does not claim that Prestige One is a Tamallak+ integration partner.

Readers exploring The Waterway in Meydan City or Seaside in Dubai Islands can review the project information alongside construction updates. Those resources answer questions about the development itself, rather than registration-service eligibility.

The July announcement broadens the industry conversation beyond launches and transaction totals. It puts the experience of completing a property transaction in focus, while leaving the substance of the purchase and the delivery of the home as distinct responsibilities.
