Dubai’s Construction Pipeline: From New Projects to Completion

DLD figures published in August 2025 reported 24 completed projects worth AED 4.5 billion and 726 projects under construction across Dubai.

Dubai’s real estate market continued to move through every stage of development during the first half of 2025. According to figures published by Dubai Land Department in August 2025, 24 real estate projects valued at AED 4.5 billion were completed during the first six months of the year. At the time of the announcement, a further 726 projects were under construction across the city.

These figures also show why different stages of development should be understood clearly. An announced project represents what is planned for the market. A project under construction has entered the building stage but is not yet complete. A completed project has reached the end of construction, while final handover may follow according to the procedures and timeline of each development.

The same announcement reported 90,337 newly registered real estate units during the first half of 2025. Registered units should not be read as completed homes, as they may belong to developments at different stages. Looking at registration, construction and completion separately gives a clearer view of how Dubai’s property market is moving.

For buyers and investors, regular updates help turn market figures into visible progress. This same focus can be seen in the Prestige One Construction Updates, where project milestones, site imagery and current construction progress can be followed as developments take shape.

As Dubai continues to move projects from planning to construction and completion, clear progress remains an important part of understanding how the city’s real estate market continues to grow.
